Physical Therapist Assistant – Job Description
Provide hands-on treatment sessions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and progress
Encourage patient accountability for attendance and adherence to therapy programs
Document each visit accurately and update treatment plans as necessary
Follow the therapist’s plan of care and communicate any patient updates
Supervise therapy technicians to ensure smooth treatment sessions
Maintain case management records and productivity reports
Support marketing efforts as needed
Qualifications
Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
Wyoming Physical Therapist Assistant Certification or eligibility to obtain
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Passion for helping patients achieve recovery goals
